As I watch on the media about the flooding that is occuring on the Eastern seaboard, I think back to the experiences that I heard so many people having lived through in the aftermath of Katrina.
For people suffering from PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), pictures of flooding can easily trigger remembering traumatic events.
My heart goes out to everyone impacted by this current flooding, as well as those Katrina survivors (and those who helped them) who's trauma re-surfaces.
